WHO ARE WE?

We are American educators interested in promoting reading "in the content area".  All geocomic and comic producers are trained and certified (or were certified) K12 classroom teachers.  Most of us hold advanced degrees in education, technology, or the subject area of the comic.

As a rule, you should not see content on this site that deviates from the national curriculum standard(s) referenced at the bottom of the comic.  No additional political, social, or religious ideologies should be present in this content.  There may be, from time to time, geographic content, such as exact borders that are disputable.  In those cass, we defer to the off-site map authors for guidance (and the US Department of State).
